The structured mentoring courses English schools have been missing.
Phil gives every mentor a library of ready-made, evidence-grounded five-week courses covering the difficulties pupils actually face. Every session is recorded as it happens, and the reports download in a click.
No card required for the establishment pilot · three weeks · up to three seats and ten pupils
No admin/mentor switch here, J. Okafor isn't an admin, so this is the only home screen he has.

Persistent disruptive behaviour makes the headlines. But anxiety, low mood, disengagement and social withdrawal sit behind just as many pastoral referrals — and there is still no shared national standard for the mentoring meant to help with any of it.
Everything a structured mentoring offer needs
Not a generic behaviour app. A library of courses, a safeguarding-conscious record, and reporting built for how English schools actually work.
20 evidence-grounded courses
Five structured weekly sessions per course, each mapped to published DfE, Ofsted and EEF guidance, not a generic behaviour template.
A safeguarding step on every session
A mandatory flag and note on every session record, consistent with the vigilance culture KCSIE asks every member of staff to hold.
Continuity that survives a staff change
The closing summary stays with the pupil, so a new mentor picks up from what is already known rather than starting cold.
Governance-ready reporting
Mentoring list, whole-establishment and individual pupil reports, ready to take into a governors’ meeting, a parents’ evening or an Ofsted conversation.
Progress a pupil can see
A live progress bar and a certificate at the end, so a pupil finishes the course with something to show for it.
Scales from one mentor to a trust
The same structured content and reporting work for an independent mentor, a single school, or a multi-academy trust.
On the web now, in your pocket soon
Every session record works the same way on a phone, tablet or desktop browser, because a mentor writes up wherever they happen to be. Native iOS and Android apps are coming soon.
Available now: the web app
Log a session the moment it ends, browse the course library and download reports — all from any browser. Nothing to install, and no separate login.
iOS and Android: coming soon
Native apps are in development, so a mentor can log a session straight from the room they are sitting in. Start your pilot now and we’ll let you know the moment they launch.
Always in sync
When the apps launch, everything logged on the web carries straight over: same pupil, same course, same safeguarding step. Nothing to reconcile, nothing recorded twice.
From enrolment to evidence, in four steps
Enrol a pupil
An admin or mentor enrols a pupil onto one of the twenty courses in minutes.
Run five structured sessions
Each session follows the course’s defined objective and activities, with a mandatory safeguarding step every time.
Reflect and certify
A closing summary and an automatically issued certificate complete the course.
Report with confidence
Pull mentoring list, establishment or individual reports whenever governors, Ofsted or a parent need to see the evidence.
Twenty courses, ready to assign
Every course is a five-week structured plan grounded in DfE, Ofsted and clinical guidance. The titles are below. Sign up to see the full session plans, activities and resources for each one.

Each school gets its own reporting; trust-wide reporting across schools is on the roadmap and we’d want your input on what it should show. Email hello@phileducation.co.uk.
Built to sit alongside your safeguarding procedures, not replace them
Phil is a session-recording and course-delivery tool, not a safeguarding reporting system. Where its role ends and your own procedure begins is set out plainly, so nobody has to guess.
A mandatory step, every session
Every mentor completes a safeguarding flag and a factual note on every session, whether they have been mentoring for a term or a decade.
Never a substitute for your DSL
Phil doesn’t send alerts, notify a DSL, or monitor content. Mentors report concerns through the school’s normal route, the same day, exactly as KCSIE requires.
Clear, reviewable access
Admin accounts can look up any pupil’s records, including safeguarding notes. A ready-made policy template sets out exactly who sees what.
